Latest from Afghanistan: U.S. personnel among casualties after explosions at Kabul airport
Fox News reported at least three U.S. Marines are among the injured.
Way to go Joe.

Yeah they have some of our weapons, but they're still our weapons. Our military has the capability of completely obliterating any of these terrorist organizations.

I can see both sides of the argument; it's not our job to police the world, but we also shouldn't abandon people in places where we *have* gone in.

I agree with Biden when he says there was no way to withdraw from Afghanistan without chaos ensuing, but that's a total cop out. There were certainly *better* ways it could have been handled that would have resulted in *less* chaos at the very least. Leaving thousands of our own citizens behind in that hellhole warzone is completely indefensible. He chose like the most mindless, worst possible "strategy".

Erik Prince, Founder of the Military Defense Contractor - Blackwater, will get you on a private chartered plane out of Afghanistan for the low, low price of $6,500. He charges extra for an escort from your home... but having a comfortable, half empty, chartered plane seems worth it while so many others in the country are fighting for their lives. And if they actually make it to the Kabul Airport, get to sit on the floor of a C-17 Cargo Plane with hundreds of other people. Some might say it seems pretty heartless letting thousands of people die or get tortured while you profit off the few that can scrape their life savings together for you, but who's to say ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Putting that number into perspective, decent-size jet aircraft usually cost on the order of thousands of dollars per hour to operate, getting ever more expensive the bigger you get. Even a small jet like a Citation or Learjet will usually run 2 or 3 thousand dollars/hour. A big jet like a C-17 will run you pushing near to$25K/hour. None of that accounts for added expense like staging costs. It's hard to find a domestic, jet charter for $6500. Upwards of $10K-$20K is not unusual. You can do it cheaper if you're flying some hunk-o-junk like a Cessna Caravan. Jet aircraft are absurdly expensive. Point being, they're not running a charity, but they're not making much if any profit either. It's more than I'm doing so I won't throw stones, and that's a group I've thrown stones at before for other reasons.

Ya, the Taliban now has drones and Apache attack helicopters

I can imagine their joy at seeing those for the first time: “holy shit! Do we have anyone who can pilot any of these? No?”

Then I picture them getting on YouTube trying to find a How To video lol. I’m sure they’ll figure it out eventually though

Every vehicle has the signal emitter still sending to the eyes in the sky.

I have a buddy that runs contract security ops. They're literally watching the Taliban driving around all the Humvees and other APVs. Instead of drone-striking the entire vehicle...they just wait for the sand people to get out.

Dead Taliban, vehicle operational...more Taliban get in, drive around, get out, and get smoked. Rinse, wash, repeat...and they haven't figured it out yet.

lmao

Hey don't you think the taliban has eyes on all the elf sim message boards?

But I agree that USA may be stupid, (like pulling out of afghan the way we did) but we aren't going to get taken out by our own hyper encrypted hardened drone systems, ya goofs. I know Matthew McConaughey can reprogram an indian drone in like 2 minutes in Intersteller but thats not how it is here and now.

Re: kabul airport debacle/bombing

for those of you still desperately clinging to your libtard talking points

This is what having an actual, dipshit incompetent president looks like.

You got something else to say, lefty?

Conservatives lecturing us is pretty funny after Trump's incompetence led to over 600,000 American deaths.
