Not the Judicial Branch who shouldn't be beholden to anyone except the Constitution. If the Legislative branch throws together a law that the Judicial branch doesn't think holds water they are doing so because it is poorly written and not possible to uphold. At which point they have the Legislative branch rewrite it and try again. Learn about Civics

RvW bypassed the Legislative Branch precisely because they likely couldn't have garnered the support in the Legislative branch, or were too cowardly to full-on come out in favor of abortion at that time. So they kick the bucket to the Judicial Branch.
Im not sure that's what happened. I think people were trying to pass laws and they took it to their local courts, and they couldn't solve it so it was passed up to the SCOTUS and there they determined it was constitutional and that is how legal precedent works?

Is that not how it happened? anyone got another story that is different?

This is exactly why many see RvW as a bad SCOTUS decision.

You are upset the interpreted the constitution in the favor of the person wanting the abortion, and you've construed that into legislating.

Disappointed none could convince me it was actual fairness that right is after.

Roe wanted an abortion but Texas law said no abortions, only kolaches. She sued and it went to the supreme court.

The merits of RvW are not why it’s bad. It’s procedural, I’m still not sure you grasp how things are supposed to work.

Supposed to work based on whose interpretation? I think RvW is exactly how the SCOTUS is supposed to work.

so what's yall beef with judicial review?

I will mark your answer as incomplete if the meat of it is "unconstitutional" or any loquacious variety thereof

lol MCCL? They certainly don't have a bias. Really, really, don't care what their opinion is on RvW.
