Unlike the single motherhood meme which has plenty of stats attached to it. And there's policies we can point to that coincide with it's recent big uptick. Individualism is the ideal that the needs of your ego must be sated at the expense of the group or family unit. It's a devaluation of collective health and hypervaluation of the illusion of pride.
