Awesome! thanks for the info! That is very odd indeed, and I can't say for sure why this happened this way, but it does make sense from the standpoint that someone else with your same motherboard updated their driver and fixed a similar issue to what you were experiencing. I will add a note about this to my tech FAQ for people with similar motherboards.

I'm not gonna be one to think this was just a coincidence then. If someone else had the same problem with overclocking and solved it by no longer doing so then I think we can say this is Step #1 in all troubleshooting of this error.
