1. a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

White guilt is a doubly racist concept. Firstly, it is extremely demeaning in that it often presumes white people hold ultimate power over black initiatives. Secondly, it requires a presumption that white people cannot favor initiatives that would benefit black people unless it stems from underlying guilt.

It's insulting and elitist on every level.
