Solo Artist Challenge

[Triangle]

Tried to solo tola again tonight. I finally got him slowed! Got him to about 60% but he managed to get a nice spurt of damage with his nukes/melee and take me out. Had a great pet as well, I think i can do him honestly, but I will have to have luck on my side. Need a couple days break from him before another attempt I think =P

Also next time I will try to stack MR a bit more. His nukes were what through me off, hard to keep up with the dps if you can't resist his stuff

(Internet went out in crypt the one night while farmin there. When i logged back in at 7 am no one was there so instead of immediately OT hammering I decided to see what I could do. Got messy as all hell with runners; having to FD off the adds slowed it down but I managed to clear the CC ph + 2 ICGs + 4 PHs/rares in the 28 min respawn.. not too bad for a melee)

I'm loving the list and this concept. Something new and fun to do with the game atm. Well Ragefire is kind of a pain to spawn I think, but I'm going to go ahead and add him since it won't change the requirements for God level.

Pretty sick for a melee. I think you might be able to get solo GM as well; you can surely take out the fire giants solo and then its just a matter of getting an East named, and they aren't harder than the crypt named really, if you can get a split (pretty sure I have a strat for you that would work, hit me up in game some time and we can chat).

I PMed both Ambrotos and Sirken about adding some prizes or titles for this challenge and they both ignored me. But maybe they would be willing to spawn Draco/Maestro without items.

Right now the artist list is mostly Enchanters and Shaman (s?) so I'd love to see some more people give this stuff a shot. I'd be real curious to see if a Donals cleric and a warrior or monk with sick gear could take out the Protector.

Also I had one more idea - I'm going to add a list of godmode kills, starting with Sentenza/Elethia for Ragefire.

I'm 100% positive a Donals Cleric or 60 Torpor Shaman could take out Tola with me at least; quite possible Prot too. Would be interesting to see.

Two more mobs to consider adding to the list:
Verix Kylongs Remains (KC). Not a hard duo, but can be a tricky solo with his slows, the CC around him, etc.
Ixiblat (BW) w/ and w/o Cloak of Flames. From what I remember seeing, his hit rate is effected by the worn haste, so the distinction is pretty important.

Just stuff I thought of.

EDIT: also, could consider adding mobs from posky, but that might be a whole nother can of worms

Thought I would try neh ashir tonight. Got to her hut and pulled the reaver after preparing a pet. Had to run through 2 reavers this time, and they each hit for 190... it was a close fight. Luckily Neh ashir popped right after and she is is not KOS. I camped out my pet's agro.

Then I came back and got ready. Neh seemed to be going fine until she CH'd. She seemed to CH twice and by that time i was low on mana and had to back out a bunch to heal. By that time my pet was nearly dead. She landed a lucky nuke (I had resisted most of her nukes thus far) and I was forced to back out and heal. My pet almost made it but died... She was at 36% and seemed out of mana, so I almost had her. Was very frustating but at least I managed to cap instead of dying. Might try this one again tomorrow as it seems quite possible.

Hey Ploktor, I'm definitely not adding Verix; he's easier than an Ilis Shaman and is a total PITA to spawn. Ixiblat is a good idea although also kind of a pain to spawn but easier than Ragefire IIRC. Duo God Mode is a bit short IMO, I'd like to have 10 mobs perhaps like Solo God Mode.

Nice job Svenn; two reavers is probably about average. I think most of the god mode fights are possible with good gear and luck, but they aren't just going to be walk up and pwn.

Poll: do people want me to add their guild tag at the top?

Poll2: do people want to add Sky bosses to the list? Most of them are impossible with DTs; we could consider the princess, the protector, Gorgalosk, Noble Dojorn and the Spiroc Guardian.
