Daliant, would you please teach me how to do the cool freeze-frame effect? Also, I'm going to need a comprehensive list of dubstep songs from you so that I can put them all in videos before you do. What version of Windows Movie Maker do you use?

Originally I used Windows Movie Maker Live to make my videos but then I switched to Cyberlink Power Director because I was having issues with WMM giving me memory errors when creating long videos with lost of "sped-up" clips in it. Power Director is generally just better and easier to use, but I still use WMM at times for things like fade-in-from-white, slower moving zooms and pans, and if I want to speed a video up faster than 10x (which is the maxium on CPD).

I'm not sure what you mean exactly by "freeze frame effect". Using CPD, If you want the video to have a slow motion section you would split the video at the points where you want the slow motion to begin and end, creating 3 seperate videos. You would then select the portion of the video you want to slow down, go to the "power tools" tab, check the "video speed" box and adjust the speed of the video. You can adjust this using a multiplier or by setting a duration.

If you want the video to actually freeze, you just need to select the the point in the video where you want the freeze to happen. Click the "snapshot" button to create a picture of that point in the video and also split the video at that point. Then insert the picture where you split the video and asign a time duration to the picture.
