What sort of event would you find fun?

We had a player hosted event on live where people had a couple weeks to level up shadow knights and have them fight in the pvp arena in neriak.

My ogre made it to the final round and was faced by a red con dark elf shadow knight with harm touch. He was handily squished for in the name of house Greenblood. I received all of his bronze armor and serpent sight axe for winning.

Not a bad event, everyone could fairly compete and it had some RPish themes.

how about master of the crafts event. people use there tradeskills and we see who the real jewlers and smithers are on this thang here.

would be a fun event, although twinking would kind of ruin it, though that could make it more interesting to as lev 50s fought over gear spots for their twinks.

should also be more like make a level xx shadowknight (or whatever) instead of "make one" since folks could have one powerlevelled to 35+ in short order.

Make a vendor with full large bronze, some kinds of weapons and summon in the interested players. Have a /level and /skills macro made to quick click each contestant. And, IMO, let people keep the free starting bronze and average weapons (only these will be allowed).

It kills a flock of birds with one stone. People having trouble getting started get some starter gear, we get a pvp event, nothing of game breaking value is gained, and everyone wins for their participation. Maybe give them a title like ", Neriak's Champion or some such".

Afterall, isn't the Shadowknight the most celebrated twink character in Everquest?

I know a lot of the live events and those I do remember I know which ones went well and which ones didn't on RZ. I also could spend a little more time trying to remember what player hosted events there were on RZ.

In fact, that's exactly the face I was making thinking of fun GM events from live to have here.
