i know he had a rune, tried to dispel it but that wasnt working at the time either. out of all the nukes i landed on him only one did more than 32, and it said 390 pretty sure thats the one that broke the rune, was the first or second nuke.

one did 9 damage, then there was a string of 32's, and some 20s. hard to discern via the hack and slash screencaps, but either way shit wasn't working correctly.

I haven't really been commenting on any of these resist threads because frankly I don't know anything about classic resists and the most recent pvp box I played on before here was VZTZ. Not that I didn't play on a pvp server back in classic, its just that I played on TZ on live when I was 14 and that was almost a decade ago, so how the fuck would I remember anything. Did you play eq in classic? If so then you know that at 140 MR, you would ALMOST never be rooted or snared. There always seemed to be that one out of a 100 chance that it would still land, but it was enough that no one really tried to cast root or snare unless they were tashed or malo'd. I'm not sure if proof is needed, anyone from that era can back me up on this one.

according to lovely and his screenshots the resistance system was working properly when he nukes for 600 on a target with 90 - 130 cr (cant remember what i had at the time) and gets nuked for 9 with 60 fr.

Yeah sounds like the truth. That's why it took 3 comets to kill the chanter and the finishing blow hit for like 100 dmg or less, the lowest possible a comet can hit. So I guess being naked is stronger then having high CR. Oh and the resist system worked exactly the same for me, you and the 50 enchanter. So I don't see why you cry about resist system when you had better GEAR for one, two versus one and all 3 are casters. Makes no sense really

Stein of mogokk? I've never seen a player on beta have one, pretty sure the quest was bugged but I'm not sure. I said I didn't have a single item that gave resists. I probably had 1-3 items with INT stats, but it might only been oracle robe I don't remember exactly. I started getting resist gear about a week ago cause I never needed any to pwn you noobs.
