I don't know for a fact, but I was guilded with Rexx and I am 90% sure his story is true. Although he was never that blunt about it in vent or guild chat people always gave him shit about it and he used to deny it so I tend to believe him on this one.

I wouldn't fly or drive or even go next door to meet anyone from P99, because really you all seem fat, stupid and poor, or some combination of those three traits.

I have, however, met folks from Allakhazam on several occasions, including my now wife. in fact several couples have met on Alla and later married, and there used to be gatherings fairly regularly where folks would meet up and drink and whatnot. These are people who played Classic EQ, and despite that they later made real-world, meaningful relationships. I don't want to say there's hope for any of you guys, though, because there really isn't. As a collective, you lack charisma.

story of meeting someone from LiveEQ circa 2001:

dude from guild flies out to meet this girl. we'd all seen her rl picture and i began to refer to her as shrek due to her appearance. anyways, he flies out. she meets him. they sleep together in a hotel. dude stays at hotel. she goes home...to her husband and three children. 2 months later dude who flew out is living out of a hotel banging this married shrek-creature. shrek ends up leaving her husband and kids behind. the husband attempts suicide and it is rumored the kids were taken by the state since she was declared mentally unfit as well.
