Bardalicious: you are completely, utterly, full of shit.

While it is true that there are false positives in the log files, they are usually diminished by sheer number of incidents alone.
So release the logs for everyone then. Including yourself.

Quote:
Oh, I'm quite aware of this bug and took it into consideration before posting the log. It's pretty easy to quash that theory when the logs dictate this was happening multiple times in the same zone, with multiple minutes between the incidents. Pretty unlikely that you had zoned out and zoned back in between them and saw a new ghost to click on each time.
There are other ways to target things across the zone (like bind sight). I don't know if this would have set it off but I also often toggle back and forth between previous targets, some of which would normally be out of range. I've asked freakyuno if this would set off the mechanism which detects targeting out of range but I haven't gotten a response yet.

Quote:
That was actually the wrong log entry. I will admit the fact that warp detection was likely being set off by the OOT translocator in EFP, however there was another incident in feerrott where this would not be an explanation.
So the logs show me warping twice in 30+ hours of playtime on that server, once was "the wrong log entry" (???) and the other time was in feerrott. Couldn't this be accounted for by lag or just an error in the warp detection? Do these logs show where I supposedly warped from/to?

Quote:
Or perhaps you are as incompetent as the rest of the MQ2 kiddies that think they will be able to slip under the radar due to lack of knowledge of the detection methods implemented?
Fair enough - but realize that when freakyuno posted about the logs I asked him to name and shame all the people who hacked. If I actually hacked do you think I would have asked him that?

Quote:
A valiant attempt to defend yourself, however I remain unconvinced. While the detection system is not perfect, it's easily decipherable when you have such a large sample to analyze as is your case.
A large sample size is only relevant when you post everyone's logs, and when you can compare with someone who you know for a fact did not hack. Your methodology is stupid. Please come back with better evidence.

Quote:
Like I said, ghosted mobs at zone in is the obvious exception for exceeding the targeting threshold, but looking at things such as the frequency of the occurrence, the times and repetition to signify that you were remaining in the same zone during those incidents, and even the NPCs in which you were targeting are pretty evident to state that this was much more than simply clicking on npcs that were ghosted on zoning in.
This takes stupidity to the level of an art form; if you look at the logs almost none of the mobs I targeted are at all important. It just doesn't add up; why would I use hacks just to target Old Dimshimmer (lol?) from across lesser faydark?

Quote:
I'm also willing to bet that if you traced back to the locations of the entries, the location it marked you as having targeted from would likely not be a zone line
If you have evidence of this, by all means post it.

Bardalicious, if it makes you drop this and admit you have no proof I'll gladly cooperate with you to see what can set off false positives in the detection system.

That log proves nothing, and I bet you could find similar logs of dozens of people who aren't using MQ to target outside of the possible range.

It's like the "large warp detected" on p99. It doesn't mean you're warping.

The "large warp detected" bug sets off warping detection, something entirely different than what is shown here. Keep white knighting your fellow bluebie hackers bro.

I despise hackers wherever they're from.

If I believed him to be cheating I'd hate him as much as anyone else.

I just don't believe that to be the case.

You guys are just that bad. You need to justify losing to a bluebie, and will do so at any cost. Lolsobad
