I did hear that too, but I figured that was in grouping situations.

The sister purity belt island is going to be so toxic, im going straight there.

The idea would be to just group up at sisters so everybody gets loot.

But idk how necessary farming plat will be if every group member getd their own corpse. At that point it is probably faster to just farm the items you want. Prices will also be low if all items are in high supply.

Hope they are smart enough to prevent item duplication.

Enchanters load up their charmed pets with weapons and gear they can essential get back.

I could see this slipping through the cracks where every corpse happens to have the equipped gear.

That's a good point lol. Idk how many people are going to be charming though.

Unless they increase mob difficulty significantly, the three class system is probably going to render charming obsolete. An indiual player will be way better than a charmed pet. Charming is only good because charmed pets can be stronger than players and summoned pets.

Man i was just thinking it would be really fun if you could combine items in strange ways to make your own custom items, or at least result ina vast varriety of unique items with even random custom effects, for us to farm, grind farm, and experement with.

Its a tripple class server, so that would be really cool to like, combine some item stats in interesting ways.

Like if it took 10 fungies+10 Vindi BPs to make A fungied breastplate of the vindicator.

Would be able to farm stuff for daaaays and daaays.

Every player in the group gets an individual copy of the killed mob's loot table, but not necessarily the same items. Looted items are made NO DROP when equipped, and are also made NO DROP after they are traded once. The combination of items being both easily farmed and unable to be resold means that the economy of EQL will be drastically different from a normal server. There won't be much of a reason to farm plat except to buy consumables like peridots and potions. The devs seem to be designing a server where the player is intended to loot most of his or her own gear. Paradoxically though, they may have actually made gear so cheap and easily available that even high end things end up being given away for free to new players. For example, a Cloak of Flames +1 has basically no value to a player who's wearing a Cloak of Flames +7, since he would need something like 63 extra CoF+1s to upgrade his cloak to a +8, and the diminishing returns aren't worth it at that point. And since it can't be resold once traded, its value is limited. Most such items will probably end up just being offered to new players.

This is actually my biggest concern with EQL: that gear will become so cheap and easily acquired that there is no satisfying feeling of progression after you've leveled your first class combo to 50.
