"Should I not drink the cup which was given to me by God?" God wants me to take Olanzapine. Otherwise he wouldn't have given me this crucification/pill. It's that simple really.

Soren, you may be interested in checking out the papers by Joanna Moncrieff. She is a psychiatrist and research scientist, but in many ways very anti-establishment.

Not all of her controversial arguments make sense to me, but I've not been a psychiatrist for 30 years, so what do I know. I feel like some of it may resonate with you.

searching her name at scholar.google.com and filtering the pages to recent years produces lots of interesting stuff, much of it requires no subscriptions to view.

e.g. Antipsychotic dose reduction and discontinuation versus maintenance treatment in people with schizophrenia and other recurrent psychotic disorders in England (the RADAR trial): an open, parallel-group, randomised controlled trial

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/l...258-4/fulltext

A summarized summary:
Maintenance antipsychotic medication is recommended for people with schizophrenic diagnoses, but with adverse effects, and little evidence on long-term outcomes.

The study compared a gradual antipsychotic reduction with maintenance treatment for harms and benefits. The hypothesis was that antipsychotic reduction would improve social functioning with a short-term increase in relapse. At 2-year follow-up, a gradual, supported process of antipsychotic dose reduction had no effect on social functioning.

The authors hope their data can inform decisions regardling long term antipsychotic medication.

I prefer staying a virgin not having sex and only going outside to go to work or buy groceries. And I will take my pills and shut up in real life. I will be like Gordon Freeman but without his grand accomplishment of saving the world. At least I have money to buy bourbon and play Battlefield 6. I spent some money on this game. Pretty sure that I won't get a flat earther wife so I don't really care about that much anymore.

I surrender to God who has given me these pills in the first place. Jesus said "shall I not drink the cup which was given to me by my father?" And then accepted the crucification. This is about damage control now. I have radical views that oppose the far left liberal mainstream view forced down our throats, and I say, hey, you have won. I give up.

But at least let me write down my schizo views on this awesome forum. Earth is FLAT!

I don't get it. What do you mean fight? Fight what? I tried to quit olanzapine 5 times. It is a very addictive drug and everyone always kept telling me to take this medicine all my life so I went along. My mom was scared I would not take my medicine and some of those cold turkeys were covert spec ops missions for me. [You must be logged in to view images. If you don't like the cost of sanity, you find a different way to pay for it. If Olanzapine was too annoying, try a different drug, or try taking a lower dosage, or try taking another drug to counteract the effects.

But you don't just give up and sacrifice your sanity. Sanity is such a precious thing.
