It might be all bro science stuff, but I personally every time I jog try to do agility footwork that my cousin showed me from his community college football drills
If a crazy bum is coming at you with a knife, chances are they are not that fast, nor are they agile. Most homeless people I talk to in my job have really fucked up feet from walking miles and miles in the same pair of unwashed dirty socks, or no socks at all. Many have sores on their feet, swollen feet, or worse This means speed and agility are probably your best defense. A crazy man chasing you still has to pull you down, and if you are fast enough, or can juke well enough (think football) they will only get one attempt at a dive. If they miss, and you continue running, you will be safe and out of their range and they probably won’t catch back up again unless you get tired before them Or, it could play out like this video, where the crazy homeless dude inevitably has something unexpected happen where he trips, goes down, potentially loses his weapon. You then have the option to “swarm” him, as they like to say in MMA. Bradley Martin has freaky size and freaky (PED assisted) strength. I don’t think any 1 fight against a pro boxer 100+ lbs lighter than him would mean how every fight would go. I think if it were a series of fights Bradley might win some, and lose some
Yea, if Bradley got socked a few times on the way in would probably be lights out. But assuming he could shrug off the hits and get his mitts on the boxer and pull him down, even without grappling experience that would be over, especially considering the boxer not having grappling experience. The boxer would not be able to do anything against Martin’s strength, it would be like trying to hold off a bear But him vs pro flyweight MMA fighter Mighty Mouse Demetrius Johnson….I dunno. Even with no skill, I think the sheer size difference (130ish vs 260+ lbs) would be insurmountable. That’s like saying that Demetrius Johnson could also stop Brian Shaw, the 400+ lb man throwing Bradley Martin around in the vid. Here Joe Rogan echoes my thoughts that Demetrius Johnson in a STREET FIGHT vs Bradley Martin would have….almost no chance. I can’t say no chance because Bradley could fuck up in a way Demetrius could capitalize on.
