I catch some grief for it from people that don’t like them, but I still recommend dating sites like match and bumble as a better way to meet people to date than MMORPG’s. If not that, then striking up a conversation at a grocery store, having an RL friend or fam try to set you up with someone they know, hell even meeting someone at a bar (which I dislike) or RL event is probably still better than on an MMORPG. This is just IMO. And it doesn’t mean there are the occasional success story. I guarantee you there are 1000x more success stories from dating sites than MMO’s however

You don’t have to date a clone of yourself with the exact same interests. Sometimes it’s nice to have someone introduce you to something new

Just based on the guy’s communication, the best she can hope for is to friendzone herself. Which….well, have fun with living in that limbo.
