No, mass shootings are not even remotely unique to america, nor do they occur the most often per capita in america
If only there was an objective 3rd party that had looked in to this, like, I dunno ... Snopes

Might have been cultural differences. And another factor as I’ve said before on this forum is how it is reported on, which takes an initial mass shooting to create motivation
So it has nothing to do with gun laws huh? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I don’t consider Snopes to be very objective. I know democrats love them though. I’ve seen them be very partisan biased in the past

Mexico has extremely strict gun laws, how is that working out for them?

Or are we going to say that even though we are talking about a larger quantity of people dying to murder rather than a smaller quantity to mass murder, that murder statistics don’t matter for the basis of this discussion

How about gun laws effect on a country that has millions of guns in circulation already? Are you going to go gather them up? Think people are just going to offer theirs up to the cop going door to door?

huh, between 2009 and 2015 right after the biggest economic crash of our generation following a major unspoken recession while all anyone talked about on the news was how a terrorist was prsident and then a fascist got elected and also men and woman started hating each other and blaming skin and sex became the status quo I wonder why there were so many mass shootings.

Because we didn't have mass shootings (of the modern variety) prior to that, and other countries have no such shootings, or far fewer (per capita) than us ... and those facts seem to directly contradict your point.

When the news makes these people infamous, they inspire copycats. So IMO it is a combination of cultural changes and news reporting inspiring others to top the “body count” and become infamous themselves. This person appeared to have messaged people on social media posting pictures beforehand. They want to be seen

Don’t name them, localize the story, insult them in the story, don’t post body counts, don’t post manifestos

Or else, have fun with more mass shootings

Definitions matter. The big ones are rare and do not represent the bulk of mass shooting statistics. See Sweden sex laws for analog.

Yeah definitions are everything, when you define a mass shooting as something like 3 or more victims from a single shooter then inner city gang violence are by far the bulk of them according to FBI statistics last I checked

But torture the data enough and it will yield the results you want. If you want to make a profile that mass shooters are unhinged white conservatives, I’m sure there’s a way to use data qualifiers to show this

Maybe stop bullying each other as a way of life??????

44,000 videos of people getting into fights on airplanes in the last year.

People keep saying that in America we have the second amendment and in these other countries they don’t have the second amendment and they don’t have mass shootings will let me tell you something about those countries versus America in America I’m the fucking boss and you’re the fucking piece of shit idiot that works for me I don’t care who you are and I don’t care who I am I am the boss because this is America and there’s 320 million of me and all of you are my bitch.

That’s why we have so many of these shootings. Because we teach each other at age one to fight each other to get our way.

It’s survival of the fittest and some of unfit will just try to ruin the game when they’re losing.

You embrace Socialism you embrace taking care of people you embrace all that shit and you won’t have these mass shootings.

Maybe will not have all the amazing innovation we have in the United States like inventing Facebook and social media all the other bullshit that we invented with all of our amazing libertarian innovation!!

Meanwhile China built a small sun a year ago… and we use their social media. S m f h
