It's gonna be okay guys, it's not really that deadly. If if you want but the rational and reasonable among us don't.
it's been a long while since we passed the point where 1 in 1000 American blacks were killed. I could come up with uglier numbers, but this is the one I remember, calculated myself from death statistics and census numbers, because it was enough.

When I was in high school, one death among a thousand was enough to disrupt things and make great proclamations in eulogy as to what lengths we'd have gone to save that life. Fool that I am I believed we cared for each other so much, and my standards never changed. Can you explain when yours did? Or were you this pitiless from birth?

Every thousand who enter, one is killed. This to me is ugly enough for me to take all measures thus far without complaint.

The immune system is a complex network of cells and proteins that defends the body against infection. The immune system keeps a record of every germ (microbe) it has ever defeated so it can recognise and destroy the microbe quickly if it enters the body again.

Nuh uhhh

Yeah so when it encounters a new one it gives you fever, overtime mucus production, and with covid - cytokine storms.

The killer in me is the killer in you. 😛

It has a 99.9% survival rate

The vast majority of people that it kills are obese

Your personal insult aside

Yes, it's the only point

Healthy people who are not obese are not dropping in the streets like flies because of Covid

lol yeah, that definition ain't accurate. very aspirational tho.

also this is probably me responding to bait, but pokesan is ass backwards wrong as usual. fever etc is downstream of when antibodies DO detect something, not when they don't, obviously.

the idea is that ideally, when armed properly, your border troops will never allow enough virons in to replicate into a problem requiring systemic reaction once detected. A truly new and undetected virus proliferates freely without any immune response, a la HIV, until that proliferation itself begins causing its problems.

Don't listen to "whale biologist", he's demonstrably malformed

the difference is that ideally, when armed properly, your border troops will never allow enough virons in to replicate into a systemic reaction. But the reaction is, in fact, your body recognizing virus.
Is it untrue that often the immune response is the true murderer? 🤔

I guess you would call me an antivaxer. I just don’t like doctors or hospitals or pharmaceutical companies. Anyways, I’ve got the virus right now. It’s just like a medium grade flu. Kind of uncomfortable, but no big deal. I’m happy this will be over in a few days and I’ll have some resistance!

CVS and Walgreens offer free same day testing. That’s the only way to know if it’s covid or just a cold or the flu. If you get a positive test, instructions will follow on how to quarantine. It would be helpful to know for sure rather than just assume
