What does it mean if I do 50/50 every day with relative ease, but adding 10 more pushups and situps feels like death? Just old?

I've done 50/50 for a long time. Since the mid 90s. Otherwise, no other regular exercise.

I do like recreation. I'll bike, hike, canoe, paddleboard, squash, swim, etc, but never regularly. I even ran a mile last year to make sure I still could.

If you have access to a pool, I highly recommend swimming an hour a day if you can. Swimming is fucking incredible for overall health/fitness. I've been skateboarding at least an hour a day and then swimming with fins after for an hour also. The fitness improvements are getting pretty serious.

PS, ending 6/5 at 620 pushups. Very much on track for 2k

That’s strange, not sure man. I would suggest adding some strength training and cardio, since it seems like you’re probably around my age, maybe a bit younger. Gotta watch out for the bones and heart. We’re nearing the end of the road (SAD BIGLY)

Still at two. A couple days after those two I had surprising amount of muscle soreness in my rotator cuff muscles and triceps.

Seems like my body let's me get two days before I start feeling post-exercise muscle pain. Happened when I ran, too.

I sincerely hope you're trolling Cec. Aren't you planning on becoming a nurse? That's a physical job. If you're toast after two pushups you might want to reconsider that career path.
