And we all know people who have lots of misfortune, and they are deeply happy. They radiate happiness. Why? Because they're gateful." TLDR- It's gratefulness that makes us happy.

U know what I am most greatful about? The first thing that pops into my head is my health. The real irony is that I'm pretty much bed bound. My health is terrible. But hey. I'm a good weight. I have control of that. I'm not missing limbs. And I can get up enough to use the bathroom and occasionally shower. I can play on my cell and my health lets me post a bunch. I'm not going to sit here and focus on the negative aspects of my health all day. I am doing what I can to change it. And just accepting that I can't run 6 miles up the side of a mountain right now. I grieve it tho. Does that mean I'm unhappy? Man it's stupid to be unhappy allllll the time about shit I can't change. So. Yeah. Gratitude is a start, but it's silly without acceptance and understanding and respect. And patience. Which I'm all greatful for.
