We used to have an incredible ancient one on the mainland estate, but a worker cut it back too far, more or less killing it.

I put some olive plants up on my ranch, mainly because of the time it takes to cultivate them. I thought it would be a good exercise in teaching some of my grandchildren discipline
I regret it. It has been a huge pain in my ass, probably because olives don’t seem well suited to messed up ass clay Texas soil
We had peach trees growing up in nacogdoches. I still can’t eat peaches to this day because they taste like shit compared to the ones we’d get from our backyard
