when red launched there was 600ish pop. and maintained for quite a while. The reasons it died was not due to pvp, not due to the playerbase(way less toxic than green/blue). Red was a hydrance for the launch of velious and a total waste of rogean resources.

eq and pvp are not good combo.

u want pvp and u nolstagic then u have several other old emus with big populations to try out .

1: for total dick pvp u got uo vanilla server ,
2: for regular pvp -pve themepark u got a pre TOA Dark age of camelot server.
3: for mass pvp u got Warhammer online emus . aswell if u like bgs.
4: u want arenas then either u go to one of the wotlk mop or wod servers .
5: if u want to realy try out new experiences i suggest u SWG pre jedi patch.

and if u realy retarded and u want go insane there is a super fun moded server wich use age of conan
