Jboots a required item? I've played EQ off and on since 1999. About 2 weeks ago, I got my 2nd pair ever, in OOT. I seem to have managed just fine without them.

I agree with the OP. It seems that the spawn mechanics of the AC in SRO were changed on P1999 which is a violation of the "classic EQ" mantra.
Question: Why are tracking classes (druids, rangers and bards) who all have running speed spells camping the AC? They don't need jboots. Answer: So they can farm the AC ring to make money via MQing | ||
