There was a joke me and a few friends would play on Live (pre-Luclin). We had a toon named "Haddon" who looked just like Hadden and had him standing right on the spawn spot. He would be Invis'd and would click off the Invis to "spawn".

Watching people trying to attack him was hilarious.

We had dialogue macros all set up to say things like:

"As you see, things have changed."
"Many people want to fight me for my earring, but I did not bring it today! Be gone!"
"You have ruined your own lands, but you won't ruin my fishing! Get lost!"

The only time we got in trouble for it was when the real Hadden spawned while we were messing around and our toon was superimposed on him, preventing proper targeting.

This is freaking hilarious. Totally makes me want to do that. Maybe even make a Hasten Bootstrutter or whatever the jboots guy is and run around and have people hailing me to try and get me to stop so they can give me their gold.... but they will be so encumbered they can't keep up! MUWAHAHAHAHA!! Can see the /ooc now... 'Is Hasten bugged?' or 'Someone hail Hasten please!'.

Thank you for this.

It's alot easier to just lock people in NFP bank.

I did something similar to this... to myself :S

I was playing my wizard, and was pretty happy having just handed in a set of four gnoll scrolls in Qeynos. Naturally I grab 100pp as small change for any adventures before gating out to North Karana.

When I got in zone I couldn't move. Checked auto run... nope. Checked esdf... nope. Checked mouserun... nope. Checked inventory... oops.

Unfortunately I deposited that 100pp into my copper instead of my plat and was encumbered in place in NK just where the griffons like to pass.

Fortunately, I had a cunning plan!

Luckily I was bound in a zone with a bank. My plan, cunning as it was, was to gate back to that zone and spam shadowstep until I could find an NPC to open a trade window with. Then, whilst the trade window held the weight I could run out of trade distance in the direction of the bank.

I continued like this for some time, spamming shadowstep and hope to end up at an NPC closer to the bank than the previous, opening a trade window with it then running as far as I could to the bank until the trade window closed and I was once again encumbered.

It was quite the adventure, taking quite some time. Fortunately I didn't have to destroy that 100000 copper as the plan in the end worked!

How about I give each of you 1.5k to buy one in EC and we delete this thread? Message me on Pint, Aziraphael, Innie, or Ginfizzie for payment.

Karma doesn't bend that way, can't trick the universe into getting your name back.
