Zarah was one of the main dkp administrators that helped from behind the scenes. Who the fuck told Vapo that the dkp logs didn't look right? Elderan? Cos Vapo didn't have access to the logs and elderan wouldn't dob himself in you fucking retard lol.

from a personal standpoint, that had to be about the worst thing i ever saw in nihilum

Nizzar buckling to the Danes' demands/ ultimatum, on principle, was just ass backwards and silly

the math certainly added up on the side of kicking HB, but the precedent of threatening a guild leader/ holding their loyalty to Nihilum hostage and then getting away with it was far, far worse

what's hilarious is that this is all during the time Nizzar was supposedly not leading

Nizzar didn't buckle to the Dane's demands, it wasn't his call. He was the only one willing to actually talk to HB about it.

If GMs believed the guy who had a stranglehold on all end game content and was selling the right to participate in end game no drop loot that is good reason to IP ban him. That is the fear of a leader being involved in RMT. Not saying it was that severe but I get the IP ban.

You would be right if they had Nizzar on a bigger charge than just one or two items, with a smoking gun on some actual raid-level RMT distribution. Sektor and others have never been IP banned. One of the individuals was involved in large-scale RMT about 100x what Sektor was accused of.

When I think about that it kinda makes me sick regarding double standards and monetary incentivised agendas.

Theoryquest is fun. We disagree on the minor details, but I think everyone quietly agrees the IP ban was overkill and unjustified in retrospect today. See above reason (one player was caught with several million plat in gear). The duke was never proven to have sold more than one or two items max as far as I remember, with no direct link to raid distribution RMT proven or insinuated at all.

That stage of Red99 is tainted due to the staff corruption scandal with Derubael/Arcane01. Not much to talk about. The IP ban is bullshit nobody is really arguing with you.
