A lot of dead wood applying to TMO in the last 6 months, nobody turned away... no idea how many passed their trials.

Socratic said it best I think. Any time someone would step up and be a playmaker, so much responsibility was placed squarely on that person that they didn't last long. From what I remember, even when we were winning, it felt like we were on a downward slide all the time.
