It Wasn't just the Danes tthough I remember a day or two before hb got booted there was a big argument about why he was allowed to stay all that time involving alot of people. I, like tune, was neutral...i even remember sending hb a tell shortly after hearing that argument asking what the heck he did to make so many people dislike him.

Yes, that's true. From what I remember the people who were particularly against it were supposedly talked to directly and basically asked straight up if they'd quit and nobody said they would. I remember even posting in HBs app thread that if anyone was going to bail over it he shouldn't be invited at all and I was literally one of like 3 people advocating for him to get a shot.

The whole situation was real weird all around. In retrospect it would have probably been a better decision to not invite him, but HB was smart enough to know when to try. That was during Nizzar's D3 break and we were struggling to even get 15 people to show up to contest the Azrael zerg. I think the thought was that he could pull in some RD stragglers and maybe help build the numbers back up but that never happened.

Danes don't get the credit they deserve for the fall of Nihilum. That was sort of the beginning of the end, getting HB all pissy and all of a sudden TS recordings and other things started to emerge.

I remember quite a lot of people got very vocal about not wanting heartbrand back in the guild, and surprisingly I wasn't one of them. The danes happened to be the only ones the duke gave a shit about. That really changed my mind about nihilum, i mean if so many of those guys hated heartbrand they couldn't have really been all that bad.

A corrupt gm with his fakereason for ban is the real scandal and all are about to ignor this. Booting someone for like no reason because there were people who didnt liked him is a minor scandal against what happenend then. They just counted how many people they would loose on every side when they made this decision. And some started with a backstabbing fight. I count this as unmoralic behaviour. I hope noone was involved in Derubaels rmt-quest, his webpage for selling armor, but who knows.

Every trustworthy gm would not have banned for this reason. It is normal now that people are in fear they let them raise like pigs and they get slaughered for their items which get rmted after a unrightful ban.
