As I have only been on the server for about a month so far, currently level 34 and to top it off a Paladin - the amount of content that I could explore in Velious is extremely limited without having contacts in raid guilds. Certainly my favorite expansion - just would be more difficult than beneficial.

There is this neat thing called the 'Beta Buff' where you can buff your character to level 60 with spells and gear.

Thanks for the sarcastic response. I'm aware of the buff bot but that's not the issue for me personally. I haven't spent enough time on the server to show end game raiders what my skill set includes. So I'll get max level, gear, spells and show up to Kael/ToV/etc and watch the show?

Still on the bubble of social circles, which will change in time. Don't know the social dynamics yet.

If I don't have a character high enough for Velious, is there a way to create a max-level character w/ gear for beta testing purposes?

Xfer what ever char you have over ( level doesnt matter ) , goto the Beta Banker he will be to your left once you log in on white 99 . Hail him and say beta buff me , it will use a template from red 99 (yuck) and give you that chars gear / level .

Every single one of the beta buffs I've done has had an awful spell book.

Copy whatever class you want over to beta server with the /beta command (enter it twice).

Then talk to the gnome on the south side of the dock in Nro after logging into Beta.

Stand inside of him and ask him to "beta buff me"

Instant level 60 of your class with spell book. Buy velious spells and a thurgadin gate stick from the other gnomes.

Gnome on the north side of the dock can port you to any zone using the short zone name.
