Is anyone savvy with moving server data across hosts?

Okay, so, the new server is up and running and will continue to stay up. However, multiple users are complaining that their stuff's gone, spawn point has changed, etc. I'm a complete newb when it comes to server stuff, so bear with me. I won't have time to figure it all out until tomorrow morning or evening, so don't do anything serious over the next 24 hours. The server will restart tomorrow with everyone's stuff back at the switch over point.

PvP on vanilla minecraft is pretty much pointless. People sleep etc.

Yeah, I usually sneak in a 30-45 session in the AM's and an hour or two in the PM. Not as much gametime seeing as how it's summer, but come winter, I'll have lots of playtime.

I'm still trying to figure out the world differences. I thought the switch was clean because all my base + itamz are still intact. Those of you who lost your 'stuff', is it possible your base still exists at the same coords? I assume everyone writes down their base coordinates...

Or at the very least, I wonder if their spawn points still exist if they slept in beds.

Nah some of the entrance area was filled in. His underground cave is just stone now.
