"Confirmation bias (also called confirmatory bias or myside bias) is the tendency of people to favor information that confirms their beliefs or hypotheses." So, since you once witnessed me perhaps not help with something, you've established that as your belief. Ok then, that's fine. As far as loot, 1) it's impossible to cock block in Velious for a variety of reasons, but chiefly because there is no new content EVER coming out on Project 1999 after Velious This content will not be monopolized forever. 2) There are tons of options for progression in Velious, be it Dozekar / Tormax / PoG / PoM / Planes 2.0 / Dain / ToV, etc. If you think you'll simply stroll into ToV and just plow everything with no PVP then you're mistaken. Many fights are 15+ minutes in duration. There will be far more competition. 3) I don't play for loot, I play to see others have fun and progress. 4) If you think Velious is a way for me to gear myself, then you're mistaken. To me, a guild leader should always come last, to avoid any accusations of impropriety. In closing, I've probably helped more people on this server than almost anyone. I hate saying it like that because it sounds pompous and conceited, and I don't help people to puff my chest out, but if someone is going to come at me and claim otherwise, then I'll certainly respond. Your contribution to the server has been logging on for several hours a week, hitting auto attack, and logging off. Congratulations on your accomplishments, and I hope they carry over for you to the next game you embark on in a year or two, when this server will surely die as there is nothing else coming on the horizon for Project 1999. I don't think many people grasp that this project is coming to a certain end, and it's sooner rather than later. If people would relax a bit, perhaps they could enjoy it a bit more. For those who rush to reach the top of the mountain as quick as possible, it will only mean your retirement will be sooner. I don't find zerging things down in Velious with potentially 70+ people exciting. I did Velious when it was current, with mid 30's numbers, and it was thrilling. Alas though, that's why Project 1999 will always be pretty "meh" compared to live. This is a game meant to be played with thousands of people concurrently, and here we play it with often fewer than a hundred. - Top Jew, Day 1 Red99 Player, Day1 EQ Player, Tax Expert

Seen the same thing. HB is a saint leading casuals to the pixel promised land. Tune is just mad that he can no longer corpse camp lvl 52 planar raids until the casuals either quit the server or app Nihilum. The PNP worked perfectly when we were wiped in Hate last night allowing us to cr in an orderly fashion after being wiped.

For people reading this thread not named Checkraise, just keep in mind he is one of the most dangerous people on the server. He will tell you one thing and convince you but will do the opposite behind your back. He plays for his own selfish gains. Little things will leak if you pay close attention but be careful. You wont find out about it until it is too late. Keep this in mind, you have been warned.

If I left this server, Red Dawn would die. It's really not even a question. There's literally no one on this server willing to put in the time to build a guild and everything that goes with it. Nihilum knows this, which is why they work so hard to discredit me at every turn, and have brought in their new playbook of "just convince people to get rid of Checkraise and we will stop griefing them." I admire your perseverance and determination to "get me," but I'm afraid you are quite misinformed about the server, which stems from the fact that you've only seen it from one perspective. Of course, I could question you for "prof" of why I'm "dangerous" (have I killed someone or assaulted them?), and you'll respond with more vague comments meant only to create distrust and suspicion rather than provide factual information. You're doing everything you're supposed to be doing from the Saul Alinsky book of propaganda. Perhaps you'll just repeat some prior discredited stories, knowing that maybe, just maybe, it will be some innocent ForumQuest browser's first post they read. Or maybe, more likely, you'll be convincing no one other than yourself and your pals, while looking like someone who is just a wee bit too immersed in EverQuest politics to everyone else. tl;dr - Chill the fuck out

I heard Nihilum awards extra dkp if you buy the leadership a new computer and recently lost additional members who were banned for RMT.
Nihilum is VERY protective of mobs that drop pixels they don't even need anymore. Always wondered why....? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I have zero problems with almost everyone in Red Dawn, I was even willing to overlook your lies as leader in the beginning when you first said what you wanted to do. However almost everything you say you want to do as a guild as been a lie. You let the worst scum on this server be in your guild or allied with your guild. You ress people and then kill them for no reason. You break agreements. If Red Dawn were to kick you and all ex azrael and one of the current officers were to take over I would call for sharing of some dragons right away.
