HB I am glad you have purged yourself of Everquest - I'll hold on though, I don't think you can stay away and especially Velious release you'll be in deep.

I think Kunark has just been done to death on EMU, I am definitely ready for Velious, and teams - none of this ship jumping faggotry (myself included)

i think im the only one who really doesnt care about velious. after the let down on kunark i hate the idea of more zones that take awhile to get to.

I agree, but its better for those that play a lot and put in work. For the casual player classic only would be ideal.

Kunark has both good and bad aspects, the bads are that the gear gap becomes insane, newbs are gonna run around in rags and get steamrolled by tune in his armor with 4k hp unbuffed bard....

The good parts include outdoor smaller encounters like lodizal and tantor that drag a lot of attention and pvp, much fun will be had there unless nihilum zergs it with 40 people ( im sure they will )

I'm sure I'll take the plunge in velious depending on my real life situation, and I haven't fully quit here now either, but yes Kunark is played out, and I don't have what it takes to show up to 6am est venril sathir raids on a Tuesday morning a year and a half into Kunark so that new app_01 can get some greaves he'll end up bloomin onioning or quitting with.

Lodizal will go by dkp and be a 90 man wait list
