It's pretty disgusting what has happened today. I think the biggest reason this is happening is because there is nothing we can do about it. We are being told that this is suddenly bad for the population and that it's just finally time to put a stop to it. I'm calling bullshit on that.

It seems like favoritism but maybe Sirken is just throwing his weight around because he doesn't agree with the rules that we have all been playing by and he can't get support from the big man to change the mechanic? Either option is not fair to the rest of the people who have had to suffer the loss of exp, or who are going to continue being impacted by it on any scale.

It is also appalling that despite a MASSIVE public outcry against this action all we get is Sirken trolling our guild chat to argue with us about it. He told us he is only suspending us for OOC comments, but I certainly did not feel like I was free to discuss my honest opinions knowing that he was sitting around watching everything we say, and not taking the criticism very well.

What is next? If I leave my toon online all night and people de level it, can I put in a petition and get my toon restored? Will it still be such an important issue?

Everquest is great because it is a sandbox where the community should be able to police itself. Roggeh betrayed his close friends, and half of the server. We wanted to show him the door. We should not have been denied our vengeance.

How could I by any stretch of the imagination betray anyone in <Azrael> ? I more or less had no interaction with any of you. I neither asked for nor received any favors from you (By intention, I know of some of you from previous experiences and never really liked ya'll).

I mean, I understand that people in Force are/could be disappointed. I leveled up with them from mid to high, where I got some good help especially in the mid levels. I became a part of the group and then I just uprooted and left. The only reason I really left is because of the closer growing bond between Azrael and Force, whom I've more or less always distained.

I would have been fine with Force remaining a small guild unable to do bigger things, occasionally working together with other guilds when it served our purpose. Instead a close knit alliance started growing, which I felt more or less made Force an extension of Azrael, which made me look for an alternative.

All in all I have to say Force is probably my favorite guild on the server, even though a few bad apples have found their way in there. It's too bad they are strapped together with the biggest dumpster of annoying people.

In reference to the bolded. I like how that because an Azrael member made that post, you're assuming we are even suggesting that you betrayed us. I looked at those screenshots, and while some Azrael were present, the brunt of the job seemed to have been performed by your ex-Force buddies.

In regards to the rest...the reason this server is the dumpster it is, is because Nihilum made it that way. They more than likely paid off amelinda back in the day to get rid of their competition, while recruiting every warm body they could in attempt to zerg down the superior guild.

The fact that you got extremely butthurt about a certain Cloak of Flames not going to you though seems to be getting left out of this....which I find particularly hilarious.
