Game Mechanics: Trakanon's Teeth Zone Lag???

I'm having the same problem.

Just zoned in to do my seb key, I cannot stay logged on for more than 1 minute before I eventually get the black 'YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED' screen.

Ping starts at about 300 (normal ping for me - Thailand) then jumps to about 3k within 10-30seconds, then skyrockets to about 10,000 followed by DC at some point.

Slightly annoying, wanted to do Seb, and judging by this thread, it looks like it ain't going to happen.

Every other zone is fine, I can afk for hours at a time with no problems or connection issues. It's ONLY Trakanon's Teeth, and it's not a random/spontaneous problem - it happens every single time.

The only upside is that velious is rumored to be coming, so being denied what is considered one of the best parts of kunark can be somewhat nullified by having a new expansion, but until then, it sucks.

Never had any issue in TT until today, nothing's changed /shrug.

Was hoping the datacenter move would have helped. no luck.

This only happens to me in Trakanon's teeth. I have taken to binding my characters near seb orb and if i am quick manage to zone into seb before i desync.

I'm in Aus and as mentioned by some if you keep persisting it may work (1 hour + attempts is how i got my keys)

Tried 3 different ISP's (networks not just the same wholesaler)
Tried on Win 8 /7 XP/ Ubuntu.
Found an old TT zone files from my 2001 install.
used wineq/eqplaynice to drop fps to 30/60 etc, set cpu affinity
Currently using Titanium install

It certainly sounds like either server side or a core router /firewall issue.
Dev team, is there something we can run/ping trace while connected to help collect more info.
also to note, I re activated my live account after 2 years and zoned in / out with no issue.

Am willing to help troubleshoot if devs cant replicate /pm/email me.

Now I get to the point where I can finally play there...and NOPE.

As of the last patch, this has started happening to me. I've played since kunark came out without any issue in this zone... but now I de-sync fairly often, anywhere from every few minutes to half an hour.

For my case, I've noticed it's directly linked to my network connection. My office-wifi, where I mainly play, tends to be a little less stable and if I lag even for a moment, I'm de-synced and the game does not try to sync back up. This is the same connection I've used to pull chardok-AE from level 52-60 with no problem.

My home wi-fi on the otherhand rarely lags and I do not have this issue in trakanon's teeth

I'm pretty sure it's just a connexion quality issue.
I'm European.
For months I've had a ping of 140-160ms with no issue in TT.
Two days ago I had some bad connexion for some reason and my ping was 210-220ms; when I zoned into TT it was a nightmare. I tried to relog six times but it didn't help. A friend had to move my toon.
Now my ping is back to normal (around 150ms) and no more issue in TT.
