dang it must suck being Arnold's fat kid

who is whose mom tho? or are they both maria shriver's kids?

if the muscle kid has the kennedy genetics and the fat kid has the mexican maid genetics then...

there might be an argument, but still not an excuse

Oddly enough the one on the left is the son of the Mexican hobgoblin

btw that's not how genes work; children of the same two biological parents can have wildly different genotype/phenotype. But yes it's also not typically logical to blame your genes for your fitness.

oh yeah ive never believed anyone is genetically fat, every gram of fat on your body entered through your mouth.

makes sense i bet the muscle kid felt a lil different growing up being the bastard, while fat kid was just born rich and famous. looks like he might be shorter too

my brother is like 7" shorter than me and he works out constantly. he's 11 years younger too.

eats so much fitness products and hormones that he's going bald and ive still got a full luxurious head of hair that i ignore and buzz down to 3/8 once a week.

not that i dont wanna work out, just get really bored in a gym setting. i like my workouts from landscape projects around the property or appalachian trail maintenance.

humping 40 lbs of gear and a chainsaw up a mountain gets the ol ticker pumping enough i guess

There’s twofold pressure on short guys to put on muscle, which is why I see a higher ratio of muscular short dudes than I do average height or tall ones

The first and most obvious is to compensate for one’s less desirable height. The same sort of pressure maybe someone with an ugly face might feel to keep their body fit, as a form of compensation. The second is that the benefits are more visible, muscles stretched over a smaller surface area look more full and big. It’s why short natural bodybuilders like Jeff Nippard look so incredibly yoked….based on his height his IRL EQ race would be gnome [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Also, I think it is undeniably easier for rich people to stay fit and/or jacked. From going to $9mo/ bargain gyms to the platinum location of Lifetime ($100/mo*) Fitness, I see a greater ratio of very fit people the higher the likely median income gets. This is probably due to being able to afford all the best food, training, supps, and drugs

the biggest reason it's easier for rich people to stay fit is FREE TIME. i work full time, have a small toddler, a house, a spouse, friends, other hobbies etc. there are very few "free" hours for me to work out. that's why i'm usually doing it from 8-9pm after the kiddo is in bed. i COULD spend that hour watching TV or playing video games, but I have make the sacrifice/choice

What the fawk is this??

“Hey yknow that thing we deliberately built to be hard, the sled push? Let’s put wheels on it to make it easier”

What’s next, nitro boost?
it probably has brake/resistance built in to the wheels, i would assume

Yea, good point

My priorities can be pretty scuffed. I have put working out in front of other opportunities for self-improvement (dating, education, hobbies, etc) over the years when it comes to free time allotment

Yep. Even with no kids I barely have 2h 4 times a week to hit the gym and maybe 1 other day to do some running/biking. Kudos to you for squeezing in time to workout, I dunno if I had the strength to do it with a kid on my hands [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But yea you also can burn a shitload of calories doing work around the house. I’d be interested to have someone try a heart monitor to see how much sometimes. But I never wear them so meh
