Maybe we shouldn't let feds like reed oconner obstruct the ACA over title IX issues and red states could have followed federal rules and expanded Medicaid instead of forcibly obstructing the ACA and creating a legal quagmire.

Basically Tom Price has doomed anyone who hasn't been able to afford insurance continuously ... It will force people to pick a low cost plan with terrible copays and deductible that probably won't cover important things for women, or exclude certain people because of religious affiliation.

Republican beuracrats are terrible.

It will however likely reduce welfare plans cost that cover vaccines and antibiotics and stuff that was already inexpensive out of pocket, 40$ at most. Allowing pharmaceutical companies to further inflate the cost of drugs by extortion through subsidized insurance. I doubt he's going to even think about that.

They are just rubber stamping what rich plutocrats wanted all along.

Now poor on welfare can spend 100$/month on craps they don't need. Instead of that antibiotic or good food or Medicaid covering whatever herpes they have to live with.

On the upside it will continue to piss of lower class white ppl.

For pre-existing conditions they just need to include a provision that prohibits denial of benefits for pre-existing conditions originating prior to some arbitrary recent date like 01/20/2017, so long as affected persons were insured as of 01/20/2017, then it slowly unwind itself. Whether that'd be good or not, I dunno ^^
