It's just the angle and her eyes are squinting. She could serve to lose may be 5 pounds but she's not bad.

Also, the white girl doesn't look as good because the asian is closer to the camera, smiling with her mouth open, and wearing heavier eye makeup. A prime example of how relative placement can affect perception.
