No that's not what I'm saying at all.

The flu is about 80% as dangerous as covid, statistically speaking. We don't do anything for the flu, but we are perfectly willing to upend all of society for covid. Why? That's the question I'm asking, in good faith. Why?

Shouldn't we take 80% the same precautions for the flu that we do for covid?

Remember that whole fear campaign when we didn't think we'd have enough VENTILATORS ahhhh!!! And then it turned out we had way more than enough. The overflow hospitals weren't even used. It was not overwhelming anything.
