Hey fellow adventurers,

Any tips on setting up p99 on Crossover? I can't do the parallels thing anymore.. I hate Windows...

Got an M2 and M4 Mac respectively running Tahoe. Any step by step assistance would be most welcome.
Andres

Just keeping the thread alive. M4 running sequoia— still no luck .

I bought a crappy pc in Germany for like 150 euro and I been running the game, but man the maxed out m4 might be better lol.

Upvoting the post before me— if someone has this going and could drop a link— that would be unreal .

Thanks
Timmydeez

I've got it kind of working using Sikarugir on an M1 mac using Tahoe 26.3.1

I also got it working using Crossover, using all the old steps to install titanium, patching it for P99, etc, but the performance was pretty bad and I don't want to pay for crossover.

For Sikarugir, I followed the steps exactly to first get Steam running using this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZgaBTcHEwc . Then, I copied the everquest/Project 1999 folder I was using from crossover into the sikuragir wrapper, selected eggame.exe, added the patchme outside of the quotes, and it worked!

Issues I'm still having are 1) the game often crashes once I close the game and try to re-open. I've had luck restarting my computer to get the game back up but it's not a sure thing. and 2) horribly slow loading times

Best I have found so far to play on a Mac is to use Parallels.

I will have to test that out to see if it works better than what I am doing currently.

Trying to get this to work.

Updated Wineskin Wrapper to Wineskin 2.5.9 and am using the W9SWine1.6-rc1x engine. When I run Project1999 or do a test run it flashes three times in the top left and crashes.

My EQClient.ini is correct as per what others have posted... have also tried using the WS9WineCX12.1.2 engine which just means the app sits in dock and doesn't do anything.

Any help would be appreciated
