Roosevelt got polio and his legs didn't work. He gets a little bit of a pass for his belly. Especially considering his upper body strength was actually quite above average.

edit: besides Roosevelt (who I don't consider fat really) there are no impressive fat presidents.

Teddy Roosevelt was not an impressive president -- just an impressive man...and IDK if he was all that fat for endo of his day.
