The polling models were updated to account for increased redneck trump turnout but haven’t yet accommodated trump motivating increased Melanic turnout in opposition to trump

The real funny one is Asians going GOP, especially in New York. Affirmative action is unpopular

Yeah I would say it will be interesting to see if they’re able to take that into account for the 2024 models but trump will likely be a non entity by then (unless he gets pissy when he doesn’t get nominated and runs as an independent, which I would be pissed about because it would split the Republican vote to a certain extent)

Yeah, like, no matter what one supports I don't see why anybody really trusts polling. I get that we all need something to talk about before the actual election. Aside from whatever ads are being run and debates and stuff.

I like statistics, but I'm not a polling fan.

That's why I think the confidence in the "polls" that seemed to come out of nowhere at the end of October, promoted by the people who dont like trump felt like they were trying to pull some manipulative bullshit.

Like I was like, are you kidding me? The first election after Roe v Wade, where people talk about trump, every day, during his Mar a Lago raid.... After the most democrat voters in any election hit the poles 2 years earlier..

You expect me to believe, that the nation just up and decided to change their mind last month and en mass theyre going to vote for trump now??
