Sounds like fun! I hope you have a good time! I like wow classic but idk if I’d be into a hardcore character.

As for Diablo 4 though! Tox ran me through a few NM dungeons and I managed to snag some penitent greaves and full ancestral pieces in the rest of the slots. Im starting to hold my own in wt4 now! It just took 7 or 8 levels lol. I just finished up all my renown so now do we just focus on world bosses, helltides, nm dungeons and legion events? Or is there something else?
Yeah I generally prioritize these:

- World Bosses
- Legion events
- Helltides

After that its kind of up to you. Its basically a tossup between Tree of Whispers dungeons and NMDs...and if you're still grinding renown for paragon points.

I just find NMDs to be more fun (challenging) than just blasting through regular WT4 stuff.

I'll be back on Sunday. Let's push some NMD sigils!

Awesome looking forward to it! Rogues 75 now and I've been collecting NM sigils so between yours and mine we've probably got plenty of them to do.

I've yet to kill a world boss if that's different than legion bosses. How do you find those? Or is it just random spawns?

Uber Lilith looks like a bitch to kill

But I heard some bone spear necro build can kill her in like 2 minutes just standing and face-tanking her shit

(What happens when you attempt with a non-optimal build)

I was thinking of making a new thread but it’s not big enough for that IMO

But just wanted to mention I’ll probably be playing official classic WoW hardcore when it comes out, it was just announced today, and I believe test realms may be up

I have a co-worker who will be playing with me. Ill either be running a hunter (char I know best but super over-populated and ez-mode in hardcore), warlock, or priest
Expect to see about half pop of hunters.

Survival is p gud in retail still.

I play shadow and disc priest.

I just notice good dps. May be survivorship bias tho with Survival hunters cuz only the good players will stick to the spec if it's not FOMO META

Low 60's now (got a late start then switched from sorc to rogue at 53). Definitely notice some huge flaws with the game but I think it's a testament to its fun/addictive quality that I won't be able to play til the 14th (moving across the country) and I find myself missing it.

I'm a little wary of seasons. I have no interest in doing the season lvling ladder thing but I don't want eternal to be a ghost town. How did that go down in d3? Did everyone play the seasons with virtually nobody on eternal?

Based on how many casual d4 players went up in arms at the concept of seasonal ladder servers, I'd say Eternal will still be popular.

I agree with you and the "casual uproar crowd" that I'm not interested in seasonal progression. That is a staple of the diablo franchise tho so of course they're gonna do it.

Are you going to start a Season 1 char?

I'm thinking I will. The game turns into a mindlessly boring grind in the upper 80s...I was pushing NMD sigils but thats literally the only thing left to do.

If my rogue was 100 I’d probably make a character for season 1. Since I’ll likely not be there before the season starts I think I’ll just keep working on him. Perhaps for season 2 I’ll try it out.

I’d also likely just play another flurry rogue. They’re too much fun! About to hit 85! I just picked up two unique daggers for him in a Condemnation and Ashearas Katar that I’m dual wielding. Hoping to find a doombringer sword to pair with the katar and drop condemnation so I can go back to inner focus instead of the combo points.

The grinds been pretty harsh tho so idk if I’ll have the drive to lvl another character….we will see.

Nice. I kinda hit the boredom wall w/ sorc.

Will probably try a necro for S1. Let me know if you change your mind! Your rogue will always be there.
