The sword fucking sucks anyway. It's not much better than a Wurmslayer and it's 2H. Sure a rune proc is nice, but as a RANGER that only matters if you are being hit. If you are being hit, some group has the misfortune of having you as a tank AND you're using a weapon with low DPS on top of that. IMO give it to the guy who won the roll so he can sell it for 12 plat.

I don't want to get into the merits of this sword. But a ranger can also be hit while soloing. And rangers do tank sometimes, and quite successfully, with the job of holding aggro and taking hits being more important than dps.

If I was a GM, this should be the kind of clear-cut case that I would dream to see. Imagine all the funny shit you could do to this piece of garbage while simultaneously gaining the respect of every halfway+ decent player on the server. Death loop? Death loop.
