It was a play on the guy's name "not a hipster" and the obsession of hipsters with calling things mainstream and thereby shunning them.

Yes yes, but it's more than that. As azeth noted above, it's also about knowing that you, the hipster, are incredibly talented at seeing stuff that's underrated, as well as maligning those overrated, "mainstream" or formerly referred to as "bourgeoisie" elements of culture.

It's about liking things for the sole purpose that you feel like you're the first to like them, or disliking them because you feel like everyone else already likes it. You have to be totally reactionary and are bothered by anyone trying to label you, since a label implies mainstream recognition and must therefore be shunned.

the east common lands crusader - close relative to a vampire. cant leave the tunnel for very long, or the elements of rain / sun cause this character to melt. Can only travel by ports. (-50% off ports to lavastorm mountains, but only if your being ported from less the a zone away. The amount of time this character must devote mean -25% to RL sex life . -25% to there Rl economy as well.)

Ugh.. Why even bother writing that you are leaving? Nothing you have said hasn't already been said at one point or another. Nothing that you have said will change anyone. I have never understood why people feel compelled to come to the forums, unload a rant / bitch-fest around why they are leaving and then keep coming back to the forums to continue to complain about how the server has too much drama etc. Nobody cares, really. We all know that there are jackasses on the internet and in this game and we can all figure out how to deal with them. Just go and have fun with whatever it is that you want to do in life. If you come back some day in the future.. Just come back, track down your friends in game and skip on the posts to the message board. We don't need to read about it here.
