Trump should nominate Merrick Garland and see if the Democrats are stupid enough to do anything but say "thank you".

Garland was proposed as an option to Obama by Orin Hatch (and other republicans) with the idea that the republican senate might compromise and confirm a "moderate" justice.

If he wins another term he might just get to replace Breyer. Of course if that happens we'll get someone insane and unqualified because, well, Trump.
