Didn’t we used to have like 76 hour variance on this server?
Oh the good ol' days. This is what we need more of.

16 hours is for pussies. I think a mob's window needs to be so large that it overlaps with the next window. Are you killing this vox or the next vox? Who knows? It's like time travel from the comfort of your own toilet chair.

What kind of a broken person do you have to be to defend a 16 sock window lol. Broken and/or scared of competition.

I don't understand how you got "free pixels" out of this lol. Lineage wants to compete directly against ST, by actually playing the game of EverQuest, not by seeing who can stay up watching paint dry the longest. If there was more than 1 guild winning 7 days socks more consistently maybe we wouldn't be having this conversation. 16 hour socks would still be mind-boggling-ly stupid, but at least it'd be more of a conversation. But as it stands we're just giving away all the 7 day content to the sock-squad, which happens to be just 1 guild. It's really hard for me to understand why anyone would want to keep this system, including Seal Team.

Even with zero variance the bigger zerg guild wins almost every time.

Where did this straw man come from? I can't speak for everyone in my guild, but I certainly don't like 16 hour windows and I think most, if not all, would agree with me. If you think that they benefit us over others somehow, you are mistaken. We have our low-pop hours just like anyone else. We have lives, jobs, and families just like anyone else.

Thanks for making phinny more fun than it used to be. If winning a couple phinny races is the reason you think you can compete on other targets, I hope you're right and I wish you luck. If you think helping on the inny pull on the open raid is some sort of indication of your guild's pulling prowess, I encourage you to try it on a competitive one.

We'll be around soon enough. The UN held us back in way that wouldnt allow us to field members for a competitive target on the drop of a dime after up to 16 hours. See you soon; until then... see you at phini folks.

BTW -- Inny is one of the easier pulls to have ever existed. Lol. Folks at the top on the other side know this.
