Are you both suggesting, "Your life must be bleak to endure this" and, "Let's not change anything"? Quote:
You are acting like people are saying, "We aren't going to do this!" We are doing it. Just, again, pointing out how bad it is. And how dangerous it could be to a persons health. Quote:

Now if someone does dies from it. Then yeah, we might see threads where people throw blame out. But that hasn't happened and hopefully our feedback is heard and things are changed so it never happens.

You don’t even consider that I just have Empathy for other players. There is a Druid right now on Teal named Alport going on hour 40... he is in the #1 spot... I don’t know him, but from the few hours I did talk with him he seemed like a good guy. Said he took off work to get a manastone. I hope he gets it. I just hopped on for 2 min to tell him, “hey man get some water, stretch, walk around a bit” What should I have done Instead ziggy? Ridiculed him? The whole argument “no one is making you...” is complete garbage. You have a large group of min/maxers that play this 20 year old game for a reason. That group is going to do whatever it takes to get the best items. All I’m saying - you can make the item hard to get and rare without promoting unhealthy behavior. Hell if the /list command kicked you off after 8 hours with a 8 hour cool down the item would be just as hard and just as rare but wouldn’t allow people to consecutily stay on for 50 hours at the camp.

I been up since like 4:30am (6:45Pm now) and I will stay up for 60 hours if that is what it takes. No one is saying, "Make this easy!", or "Just give me a manastone". Just pointing out that it is a bad system when people are expected to stay awake non-stop with no breaks longer than 10-15 minutes for 60 hours straight. Though as many have pointed out it is more than a bad system because it is quite possibly pretty dangerous.

Oh shaddup Cervix.
Point is there are only a small number of people who are going to be willing to go to these lengths to obtain this precious stone. Who cares about those people. The majority of healthy players with lives don't care about that shit. List and droprates are fine as is, CARRY ON!!!!

If /list didn’t exsist do you think these people would be doing 50+ hours consecutively ? Or do you think they would work with their guilds to control the camp in healthier (less that 24 hour) shifts ? It’s like some how you decided the system is unquestionable and decided anyone who tries should be dehumanized.
