The thing that bothered me the most was that someone would be afk sitting in the open on a noobie area "spawn", like a scarab or a skeleton, the mob would be up, they wouldn't be killing it, so I assume they're just a noob getting health/mana back. I attack the mob and then the person stands up "DUDE!" "DON'T STEAL MY ****'n MOBS!" "YOU POS ****"

I have found it pretty easy to get to level 5, travel all over Norrath inviting my officers, gate back to Misty, and get to level 7 in NRo without kill-stealing anyone at all. I just don’t think it’s that hard to refrain from pulling an already-aggroed mob. You may have to go to other zones, or form a group, or wait by a group until they need a replacement, or just watch ooc for 10 min until someone says LFM.

I have to say I was thoroughly surprised by the lack of KSing I've experienced. Although I am mostly playing during off hours currently and late night people are usually way more relaxed.

GMs/Guides need to be giving consistent rulings IMO. If it's truly the same situation and the same Guide, then the ruling should be the same. The ruling should also be consistent with what you would receive from another staff member. It's not fair to players to have different rulings be handed out such that you never know if something one staff member said was okay is something you're going to get in trouble for with a different one.

Agreed. I try to be very careful with what happens with staff rulings and the spirit in which they want to rule..... but I don’t completely stop playing the camps that I like and want to play. It’s a really bad feeling when you’re trying really hard to follow their direct instructions and you just get in trouble again for doing it. And then it’s even worse when you follow their instructions and then you get attacked on a personal level.

I had comparisons to Alleriah made to me by the second guide. Alleriah was banned for a massive rmt scheme while I’ve never even been warned for an infraction on blue.

I used to talk to Sirken personally when these problems came up and he would get to the bottom of things. Things like that look like they just don’t happen anymore.
