Nah, I’m not prepping anything buddy. I’m done here. This naming thing is really petty. I never in all my time here thought they would enforce this the way they just did. And for Landris to add in the initial post they changed the names for a reason, so don’t bother petitioning to get it back. Np.

It's peculiar they'd suddenly start enforcing it after people had established themselves with these names for years.

Clearly no RnF post began the purge, as we have mocked the policy in the past even in the server section ages ago so I am just wondering what the real reason is, why they started to enforce it.

I am kind of stymied by the glee some people seem to get from it. This has had no impact on me whatsoever but I am trying to wrap my head around why a few select people trumpet this as if it's the next coming of Christ.

As for Baler and others, I guess I am supposed to congratulate you guys on your happiness with the guides for enforcing the naming policy which had nothing to do with you wanting it to be enforced, congrats! P.S. Not one of my character names has been changed! (Yay for inventive fantasy driven names on my behalf.)
