This may be a minor gripe, but I don't like how OOC is global on Red. I would rather it be zone based like it is on Blue. I know that this would mean that you hardly run into people to talk to, but I feel as if having OOC global makes the world feel a lot smaller - like we're all just playing on one giant arena.

Of course, one can always ignore that channel. But...

How about OOC being continent based?

Red just needs some love. Once the last patch rolls out people will be looking for something similar yet different to do... the population crept up at the end of the Kunark patches when everyone was moaning and groaning about how long it was taking for Velious to release.

Market analysts predict the same trend here. Be ahead of the curve and make a character today, or at least get your name reserved [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

red99 is deader than Elvis.
Doing the above would help solve so many problems but sadly it is too logical to be done. Especially from what I've seen so far through the years.

The minority shouldn't be allowed a voice? If red players could vote for anything it would either be a wipe and a return to vanilla EQ (max level 50 etc) or something new (teams/discord/something).

A minority already runs the raid scene. Tell me more about how a dead server of a few handful of players deserves anything?

EQ pvp isn't dead, just less popular...as was the case on the live servers. That's why there werent 20 pvp servers.

Also 2 blue servers would be splitting the population. Not sure how even that would be after the initial hype, or how much of a positive advert that is for new players. The old blue server would die by proxy which would hurt the casual players the most.

Think these things through.

Thinking things though and using logic; would be to end a near unused server, but it's not my equipment and I'm not in charge, lucky for you.

Splitting 1500 players would far from cripple anything except for the new server, which honestly would allow all the hard cores to re-win everything and also enjoy their classic timeline & camping of legacy items and much more.

I'm not arguing with you. I'm just showing you the failed logic in so muhc of this but again, I've seen much more insane things done from people in charge of much less, so... eh... enjoy it while you can.

I think a pvp server is here to stay. Why not launch another blue server and leave red as it is? Why deny people on a server that isn't your server some fun? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

All moot points anyway at the moment, rumbles of not being able to launch any new servers because of Daybreak. Not sure if true but its sad if it is.

Blue #1 would not die, and Blue #2 would thrive.
