It seems like what the raid scene really needs is 2-3 totally new raid rulesets every year. This will give the illusion that things are fresh and the hardcore navy seal type EQ players will have to spend 20+ hrs honing their skills of exploitation so they can properly enjoy the p99 classic everquest environment.
So basically, if we have spent half the year racing for FTE's, now the other half of the year is pure DPS race. 4-6 months from now all raid guilds have /teams enabled. 6 months after that we go back to FTE race. | ||

Isn't it ironic that the whole reason everyone joined this "classic" server was to escape changes they hated about live, yet this server is becoming the non-classic experience people want to escape.
I guess a 16 year old, true to classic elf sim can only last so long without becoming a real cluster fuck in the end. Nostalgia goggles only see so far, without new content the carrot-on-a-stick eventually rots. After your 5th level 60 you come to a game where high-end guilds farm and sell MQs, mob rotations and meta things like that instead of that good ol' nostalgic feeling of wonder and excitement that everyone was here for in the beginning. | ||

This just in: P99 raiding sucks massive cock and will never be fixed because the people in charge do not want to fix it. All your suggestions are falling on deaf ears and all the minor rule changes that happen every so often are nothing but bandaids that never work long term.
