If anything because of the openeness of trans people now even a lot of the horrible shit we did to intersex babies in the past is coming to light and being fixed, ever so slowly in some places.

I read a few stories of people who were reasigned at birth due to intersex conditions, given hormones secretly, and made to live in a gender, when they didn't identify as that gender and expressed a different way, they were refused the right to transition and be the gender they were. It's mostly pretty well hardwired in most peoples brains if you look at it pragmaticly. You can't change that without lobotomizing someone. No more really needs to be said on whether it's ok to lobotomize someone because of their gender identity.

I'm from the US, I don't know much of whats going on in germany, some good some bad. I know of one trans person in germany and they have a hard time. But I also know of other trans people there less in person who are rather fine, succesful.

I know there's some really bad people everywhere including trans ones, being trans doesn't make someone good. Not sure how people in germany are coping with all of it.

I think the scariest thing is someone who wants to speak for a woman, or someone with gender dysphoria, who does not. I've seen a bit much of that, and sorry to be mean, but some of the cross dressers / transvestites her in my support groups are just plain disturbing. Yet, no trans people will fight to delinate themselves from that because solidarity together, and freedom of expression is good for us, even if some of it can be dark, and in my personal opinion really sexist and fetishistic.

Its going to be really creepy when it comes out that you are not truely a trans, but just role-play one on P99 forums

Likely a tranny, but role-plays a victim. Becoming a tranny is the easy part, but pointing fingers everyday and crying hitler hitler hitler takes a special snowflake level of batshit crazy.

Look at Caitlyn Jenner, forcing people to respect the pronouns and then saying he is not comfortable with transition and is going back to male in the next few years.

He poisoned so many people with his vanity. He masked himself under your agenda, and you and your community still support him.

Terrible.

*someone who does not identify that way and cross dresses or is "trans" for non dysphoria/gender identity related reasons. Not to say it's bad to be non-binary. Just that it's bad when you speak for binary people and are not presenting as a more or less binary person.

besides i'm pretty sure as far as trannyness goes the cats pretty much out of the bag ... so it's like if you know how to make nukes, do you hide that information and destroy it so you can make nukes all over again, or do you use that knowledge and power for something good, like space exploration (cassina probe, fissionable batteries yo)

Needless to say that's a group effort and there's going to be some hiroshimas and nagasakis but you can't control other people, so trying to control the information is the wrong way to go about protecting people, the best way is to inform them, then give them the help they need to make rational decisions.
